Golden Skyline
Another nail look with the gold metal bits, but this time it's gold metal strip. These pictures show the shininess of the metal bits, better than the last one. I did one coat of Dabo RD440 and then two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme-Wear Black Out to the side. Gold strips placed so that it'll hide any imperfections, but sometimes the strips made dents, but that's OK.
The strips are bit harder to work with because as your pulling it off the sheet it could break at weak points. Just gotta be extra careful. Also because this was more solid with less cut outs it was harder to get it to lay flat. Had to use the flat handle end of a pair of tweezers to get it to lay as flat as possible.

Dress Inspired
This manicure was inspired by a dress that I picked up from the Indian Bazaar/Little India after dinner one night.
My interpretation of the dress on my nails.
I really like the nails with the flowers. I think I’m going to do my nails with just the flowers sometime. The flowers were done with acrylic paint. I basically just blobbed on the pink with the toothpick that I used to mix white and red acrylic paint, then lined the flower with red, made some dots with blue acrylic paint and leaves with green acrylic paint.
Here are the polishes that I used.
Both hands - KleanColor Black and White, Cosline 004 White Sparkle (not pictured)
Right hand - Dabo RD440, Etude House WH709, Hello Kitty PK04
Left hand - American Apparel Cameo Blue and Palm Springs, Innisfree GR06

Painted Roses
Decided to practice doing some painted roses instead of the swirly ones. Wasn't really a big fan of those since I found them to be kinda thick.

I think these turned out alright. Used acrylic paints to paint them on instead of polishes. Really liked the black with white roses so I decided to do a full mani with it.

Really liked this, but it was difficult to paint my right hand. Two coats of Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro in Black Satin, black and white acrylic paint and a green Dabo polish for the leaves.

Strawberries

Haven't really done much with my nails lately since they were really short, but they've been growing and are a bit longer now. Strawberries on the nails along with a banana, mango and strawberry smoothie. Polishes used were Dabo - RD440 and a green which has no code number on it and joe - caramel.
I was gonna do chocolate dipped strawberries, but I tried it on one finger and my stubbies were much too short for it.

Owls
Nails are currently stubs. Had a break whilst shopping so I had to get 'em all down to stubs since the difference in length was too great.

This is VOV Nail Cone It Girl's polish in 1408A Fantastic Moon. It's like a dark purple-y blue. Had it just plain for a day and then I added some owls and glitter to my nails.

For some strange reason the blue from underneath sort of seeped through to the surface. I dunno what was happening. Picture from the night before on the left, you can clearly see the yellow of the moon and the whites of the owls aren't bluish in tint. Weirdness. Polishes used for owls:
American Apparel - Factory Grey (ring finger)
Dabo - GR910 (thumb)
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On
Etude House LUCIDarling - Something 02
Innisfree - YE07
L.A. Girls - Pineapple (also used for the moon)
Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro - Black Satin
Dabo WH903.
