Igloo and a Snowman
Current mani. There's no snow on the ground here, maybe a little bit on rooftops, but not much. I did a snowy scene on my nails. There's an igloo on the thumb, or just a lump of white and blue. Snowman featured on ring finger. Polishes used were joe - Powder Blue, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - White On, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Cherry Red and Milani - Black Magic. Using polishes from my gift. Topped everything with glittery goodness from Wet N Wild - Hallucinate.
A Couple of Hauls
I bought a few stamping plates from Beauties Factory a month ago and they finally arrived. Most are wintry/Christmas-y plates so I will try to get to them quickly. Kinda disappointed that that some of the larger images aren't really that big. Hopefully they will cover my entire nail without having to double stamp. The fake nails were a freebie.
Hair accessories and polish haul from Ardene. Really like bows so I got a few bow hair pins. They're cute and will help to keep my bangs out of my face. And the polish is called Barely There.

Early Christmas Pressie
On Sunday I exchanged Christmas gifts with my friends and naturally we opened up our gifts right away and this jar of polishes was given to me from my friend J. Lots of goodies inside. I will slowly go through them and use 'em each for a manicure. I've already used two polishes, see below.
One coat of Revlon - Cherries in the Snow with Nicole by OPI - Spark My Mistletoe layered over top. Quick and easy holiday mani. Can't go wrong with red for the holidays.

Plaidesque Christmas
Did this yesterday for a holiday party tonight with some girlfriends. Thought that I would try out a plaid pattern on my nails and this is the result. It's alright, but kinda busy. I think I should have just done an accent nail with the plaid. Used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Whirlwind White with Revlon - Powder Puff over top as the base. Green stripes were done with Color Club - Rule Breaker and the red stripes were done with Wet N Wild Color Icon - Hypnotic Red. Red, green and gold striping tape were used to finish it off. This time I trimmed the striping tape just short of the edge of my nail so that I don't have the ends flicking up like the last time I used striping tape.

Polka Dots
Simple polka dot mani for the week with my stubby nails. Used the light pink from the All About Color set from Color club, Etude House LuciDarling 05, and Sally Insta-Dri Whirlwind. I always go for polka dots whenever I have short nails. The heart kinda stuck itself on and I couldn't remove it. I was trying out using a hole punch with dried polish that I saw on another blog, put the heart on to see how big it would be on my nail and then couldn't get off afterward.

More Color Club Sets
On Friday I picked up a couple of sets of Color Club polish from my local Winners. I thought I had missed the boat on these, but they were just late to arrive there. I bought the Untamed Luxury set and also the All About Color set. I already have the Wild At Heart set that I bought at a different Winners previously
The names of the polish were listed on the back of the box, but I don't know which name corresponds to which polish. I'll just have to look it up later. Names listed are - 892 Soft as Cashmere. 894 Jewel of a Girl, 890 Wild Orchid, 901 Snakeskin, 898 Red Velvet, 899 Untamed Luxury and 895 Ready to Royal. Favourite of the bunch is probably what I think is 894 - Jewel of a Girl, it's grey with silver shimmer/glitter.
The All About Color set has no names listed. Sad. Mostly pretty girl-y colours. Favourite of the bunch = the blue one.

Also sad, whilst shopping yesterday I chipped three nails so now I gots the nubbins.

Christmas Striping
Christmas-y, but not too Christmas-y. Four coats Revlon - 008 Powder Puff as the base with green and red striping tape. Powder Puff is a matte suede, but I had to put on a top coat to keep the striping tape down. However the ends of the tape still flicked up. It's more the clear plastic top of the tape I guess. Not sure. If there's three parts to the tape - glue, colour, top - then at the ends the top part sometimes separates from the rest. You can sort of see it in the pics. Also for some reason when I put on my top coat the green faded a bit. Strange. As for Powder Puff, I just got a couple of days ago, it's alright. I like that it's not a bright white, but 4 coats is a bit of a bummer.

Easy Holiday Wheel Two
More easy to do nail art. I have too much time on my hands. Favourites = sparkly Christmas tree and Santa jacket. Least favourite = red and gold ornament, green glitter with golden ornament and the gingerbread man head.

Easy Holiday/Party Nails
Nail wheel featuring some pretty easy nail art. Wanted to try out some designs to see how they look. Dunno if I'm gonna use any of them for a full mani.

Snowflakes
Snowflakes!!! Did 'em tonight. Dunno if I actually like this or not. It's okay, seasonally appropriate. The snow that fell actually stayed on the ground or rooftops without melting, and I did wear my boots out today. Toasty warm feet. But learned that acrylic 3D art does get snagged when putting on and taking off mittens. Anyway, I should start deciding whether I like this or not, I've only got the one hand done and it's already quite late. Snowflake stampies from Konad plate m59.
Edited: Adding another photo, this time natural lighting. Decided to keep the mani after all.
New Acryclic Molds
This here is a mani done with a new mold and an old one. The bow is the new one, but I don't think I actually like it. Maybe if I had put a rhinestone where the knot is I would have liked it more. The flowers are from an older mold, but that doesn't mean that I'm any good at using it. I super messed up on the thumb. Used Konad plate m71 for the stamped bow and the lacy bits.
Samples of the two other molds I got and also of some coloured acrylic powder. Snowflakes for winter themed manis and goldfishes because I like them and can use 'em for a redux of my goldfish mani. Bigger though blurrier pics of the samples below.
Loving the fishes, way better than what I had done before.
Start posting here.
Tumblr is being a bitch today, so I'm gonna start posting here too. Older manicures can be found on geezleweez.tumblr.com. Maybe I'll upload them onto here too, but I don't feel like doing so at the moment.
